Terms
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms cover this website and the free hours breakdown. Paid work is covered by a written agreement you sign before it starts. Where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
Who I am
Simão Marques, a sole proprietor established in Portugal. Contact: simao@simaomarques.com.
What I sell
I build software that takes repetitive operations work off freight brokerage teams, such as entering loads from rate confirmations, check calls and collecting PODs, working around the TMS the client already uses. The steps and prices are on the home page:
- Free hours breakdown. A 20-minute video call and a one-page estimate. No cost and no obligation.
- Audit. A paid measurement of the real hours, from real documents. Covered by a one-page audit agreement.
- Build and monthly fee. Covered by a client agreement that sets the scope, the fee, the term, how hours are counted and the guarantee.
The free breakdown is an estimate
The breakdown is built from one conversation. Its hours and dollar figures are estimates, not a promise of results. The example numbers on this website are examples, not results from a client.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any bank or currency-conversion fees on your side. Payments are taken through Stripe or by bank transfer, and every payment gets an invoice. Services to US businesses are invoiced without Portuguese VAT under the reverse-charge rule.
Your data and your accounts
The AI and hosting the software runs on are set up on your own accounts and billed to you at cost. You keep the keys. Your data is used only to do the work and is never used to train AI models. See the privacy policy.
Ownership
Ownership of what I build, and your licence to use it, are set out in the client agreement.
Liability
This website and the free breakdown are provided as they are. Liability for paid work is set out, and limited, in the signed agreement.
Governing law
Each signed agreement names its governing law and how disputes are resolved.
Changes
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes never alter an agreement you have already signed.
